There's never been a gun control law that has been demonstrated to have made things better. At best, they don't make things worse. The world is full of countries with very strict gun laws and much worse problems with guns than we've got. Control freaks are just ignorant and paranoid. Wishful thinking doesn't solve anything.

I just told you how it would go. Keeping the weapons out of Walmart is the goal. If owners have to keep them locked in the house, that's a great first step.

Of course, that only applies to law-abiding gun owners. The wacked out mass killers won't pay any attention to any of that, other than thanking you for giving them even more unarmed victims.

First off it would never happen. There aren't enough anti-gun zealots in government. Then they would need the military another violation of the constitution that people in charge would ignore not counting that the troops are not going to turn their guns on the people. That might happen in some action movie but not in the real world.

It will happen in the states that are concerned about the safety of their children.

There will be a handful of states that won't comply, and it will be their own problem.
