    We both feel that you don't really NEED freedom of speech.

    Words hurt people. They lead to suicide. Suicide rates are spiraling out of control. We need to implement word control to combat this issue.

    Don't worry, you can still use "non-offensive" words; only the "offensive" words are being taken away from you.

    Yup. We all have the right to have an opinion AND to express that opinion. That naturally means that your opinion might "offend" someone else, and someone else's opinion might "offend" you. We do not have the right to avoid "offense"... only to have and express an opinion. Hence, the two-way street of which you speak.
