One of the facts that liberals don't understand is that if they want to force people to buy insurance, there is precedent for that at the State level. And that conservatives from outside your state care little about laws you pass in your state.

The other thing that liberals will never understand is that individuals making their own decisions in a free market is always more efficient that FedCo or StateCo making decisions for them.

They don't want to get it. It is math. It is simple math.

I will reiterate, for the umpteenth time. If society makes the decision, no money, no insurance then NO MEDICAL CARE, then state it and codify it. Doctors, hospitals, providers, states, counties will be held harmless. Make it date certain with plenty of notice and get notify everyone up and down the healthcare channels. If you can't afford care, it's no one else's RESPONSIBILITY. Do not show up at any service providers doors. You won't be treated.

It must be made LEGAL not to TREAT!

Republicans could start processes and legislation YESTERDAY. And everyone of them knows it.

Socialized medicine is the standard for the entire civilized world.
We cannot be considered part of the latter as long as we don't have the former.

Pay for healthcare with your taxes and all the money goes to the healthcare.
Pay for health care with your premiums and half of the money goes to insurance company profits.
It's a no-brainer, and only American conservatives are too stupid to realize that.

Ultimately, Medicare for all is only a half-way measure.
That's public funding of private services which is still too expensive.
We need public services--a National Health Service just like the United Kingdom's.
The entire health care industry from prenatal to hospice care should be deprivatized.
There are plenty of other industries to be run for profit.
Like prisons, health care should not be one of them.

Also, if you WANT to have private insurance, that's your business--but as with public schools, you'll have to pay the taxes for public health care anyway.
That's how civilized and intelligent nations operate.
How the hell long is it going to take us to become one of those?

That's why I favor separate Blue and Red Americas. We don't have compatible values and will never be content living with the same government.
