Default Majority of voters support free college, eliminating student debt

    Source: theHill

A majority of voters said they support the idea of free state college and canceling student debt, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll released on Thursday.

The survey found that 58 percent of registered voters said they would support a proposal that would make public colleges, universities and trade schools tuition-free. The same group also said they would back a plan eliminating all existing student debt.

Forty-two percent of respondents said they would oppose such a proposal.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

    Right lol?

How is this supposed to work? I have a friend who is a mid-level administrator for a local university and her pension plan/healthcare package is better than mine [even though I work in healthcare—go figure]. One can only imagine how well the tenured professors in the Gender Studies Department have it.

If the college kids aren’t going to pay to support all of that—who is?

There goes that $1000/month Yang wants to give us. The Onion stuff advocated by democrats aside, the time for a national conversation on what’s going on with higher education is long past due. What they are doing to young people is reprehensible.

I don’t know what the answer is but I know making it ‘free’ ain’t it.

Isn't it the rich who raise the taxes? Look at the tax loopholes that favor them. You keep screaming
