I hired a 24 year old to change tires and do LOF last week. Anyway a car came in with a Bernie sticker on it

He was going on and on about being a Bernie supporter and how he volunteered etc when Bernie was in Asheville. I heard some of this while I went in the shop on 2 different occasions about 30 mins apart. I didn't think much of it because its shop talk

About 1 hour later he come to me saying he is being harassed by my lead tech of 25 years, stating the Tech was talking about Trump and saying GW was a hoax etc etc. Bernie wants to fund abortions etc

I ask him did u not start it off by bragging about Bernie when the bumper sticker was there for everyone to see. He said YES, I ask did u not preach about Bernie and volunteering at his stop in Asheville for 30 mins or so? He said YES

I said, so when someone with different views than u and Bernie starts talking u feel offended harassed etc and come to me whining about it

I said, the other men in the shop didn't come to me complaining about you talking about Bernie

I told him one day MAYBE he will learn that if u cant take it dont dish it out! Use this as a life learning exp, see ya later maybe Food Lion will hire u!

He caught a break not having to work for an asshole like you!

Sorry RB but if you don't have a sufficient size tank it will not deliver enough pressure to drive the wrench hard enough to break the lugs loose. I had a 5 gallon compressor that wouldn't break the lugs loose. I now have a 50 gal compressor that will do anything I need including removing lugs.

You can also add tanks to a compressor.

True, but who would use an impact without sufficient and consistent air pressure? The compressor with a 50 gal. tank will easily run an impact gun.

You can, but it will make the compressor work harder and hotter than it was built for and will eventually seize up.

Latter I found the 50 gallon on sale for a little more than the first one. It does everything and more. I keep the small one as a portable as it has wheels and can go with me if I need to air up a tire. You know kids will get a nail and just keep putting air in till they come out to a flat tire. Out comes dad with his plug kit and portable compressor.

None of my compressors are big enough to adequately run an impact. Yes, the ones with wheels are convenient.
The Cobra has no spare, so I keep a plug kit and a little compressor in the trunk.

What I really like about the big one is it's oil less. Louder than the small one but faster to build pressure.
