My experience is that there is no "gun show loophole." I purchased an M1 Carbine at a gun show, and a licensed firearms dealer did the transaction. It was the same process as when I bought a Henry Rifle, lever action .22, Goldenboy from Cabelas.

There is no gun show loophole. As someone that has been a private seller and bought from a private seller at gun shows, the laws, as they were written and intended for buying/selling in that manner, were followed to the letter. In my State, as a private seller, every gun I've sold has been to someone that was of age and had a current concealed weapons permit. For the idiots that constantly claim "loophole", you have to pass a background check in order to get and maintain the CWP.

Unless you can conclusively prove that the NRA was directly involved in a murder, that's not going to happen. I believe the Sandy Hook parents tried such, although I don't off hand recall the outcome. I'll get back to you on that.
