Maybe, but the SS had to quietly decide which PROPERTIES around the world to protect. It was a concern from the get go and certainly no hand-wringing was done publicly but they were WELL AWARE of how much money this could/would cost taxpayers and what kind of TARGETS his properties would make. I would THINK they assessed less known 'safer' Trump properties, especially the ones he wasn't frequenting. I just think it had to be a COST/MANPOWER analysis thing. I'm sure when Pence went, they stepped it all up!

so again there were ss people already there. Notice they just said the protocol is the same for all sites. People lack the critical thinking to ask if a Trump branded site would already have a heightened level of protection because his family or he may go there from time to time.
