You'll soon be running for the NHS, maggot- but Boris will have sold it.

UK top shares in worst week since financial crisis

London's FTSE 100 share index has seen its worst week since the depths of the financial crisis in 2008 as markets continue to reel from the impact of the coronavirus.

Shares have shed almost 13% of their value, wiping as £210bn from the value of companies on the index.

Investors are worried after a surge in the number of companies warning about the effect of the outbreak on their business.

The top civil servant in the Home Office has resigned and said he intends to sue the government for constructive dismissal.

Sir Philip Rutnam said there had been a "vicious and orchestrated" campaign against him.

It comes after reports of tensions between him and Home Secretary Priti Patel, including claims she mistreated officials - which she has denied.

BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg said such a move was "highly unusual".

Sir Philip said he believed his experience was "extreme" but part of a "wider pattern" in government.

Coronavirus: 'I waited four days for NHS 111 to call back'

A man who returned from Italy with a fever said he waited four days for a call back from NHS 111 clinicians.

Dean Hall, who works on IT projects involving the British Army, told the BBC he is concerned if he has the coronavirus, he might have spread it to military personnel about to deploy.

Others said the advice line gave them confusing, conflicting guidance.

Priti Patel’s future in doubt after senior Home Office civil servant resigns

On Saturday night, Keir Starmer, the favourite to succeed Jeremy Corbyn as Labour party leader, called on Patel to make a statement to parliament on Monday “to explain the allegations made about her own conduct”. He also demanded that the cabinet secretary, Sir Mark Sedwill, launch an immediate investigation into the reasons for Rutnam’s departure, adding: “Over recent weeks, there has been growing evidence of a serious breakdown of government. The prime minister’s handling of the flooding and coronavirus has been woeful, advisers in No 10 are out of control, and attacks on the civil service are growing.”

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics...fair-dismissal
Your attack bitch is going down, maggot

    Haw, haw.....................................haw.

It also emerged recently that a former adviser to Javid, Sonia Khan, is pursuing a case for unfair dismissal and sex discrimination after she was sacked by Cummings and marched out of Downing Street by an armed police officer last September.

    Haw, haw.....................................haw.

“For the home secretary and prime minister to have allowed things to reach this point is appalling, especially at a time when the Home Office faces crucial challenges with rising violent crime, forthcoming counter-terror legislation, new immigration laws, and sensitive negotiations on post-Brexit security cooperation.”
Not to mention chaotic floods, coronavirus and an absent prime minister.

    BREXIT kills another airline;

Struggling airline Flybe 'set to collapse within hours'

Airline Flybe is set to collapse within hours, putting 2,000 jobs at risk after a bid for fresh financial support failed, the BBC has learned.

The struggling carrier narrowly avoided going bust in January.

'It's scary': Bridgend braces for fallout from Ford factory closure

In May, Ford will clock up 40 years of making car engines in Bridgend, south Wales. But the anniversary will pass without any celebration. Just months later, by 25 September, the production lines will come to a halt for the final time.

About 1,700 people were working at the 60-acre site halfway between Cardiff and Swansea when the closure was announced in June 2019, with Ford blaming “changing customer demand and cost”.

Immigration policy will cost care sector 500,000 staff, claims union
GMB says new system policy will hit up to half a million employees born outside UK

Social care faces a recruitment black hole with potentially hundreds of thousands of positions in the sector remaining unfilled because of the government’s new immigration policy, the union representing care workers is warning.

The GMB estimates the policy will have an impact on up to half a million jobs in the UK. Its analysis of official figures reveals that more than 350,000 adult care workers were born outside the UK in the year to September 2019 – a figure that has risen by 43% in the past decade.

    .

German industrialists have been saying that for some time, finally Merkel sees it as well. The Japanese car manufacturers Toyota and Nissan are ramping up production facilities at Burnaston and Sunderland. They could very easily take much of German car trade if they are not careful.

Germany’s crippling Brexit fears exposed: ‘We need UK trade!’

BREXIT trade talks have reached stalemate as Boris Johnson attempts to evade further subservience to EU law - but Germany's fear that UK business may be lost could give the Prime Minister the upper hand.
