Did the media demand that Rehnquist retire because he was a junkie? How about over his cancer?

"Rehnquist was prescribed Placidyl by Dr. Freeman Cary, a physician at the U.S. Capitol, for insomnia and back pain from 1972 through 1981 in doses exceeding the recommended limits. The FBI report concluded, however, that Rehnquist was already taking the drug as early as 1970.[91] By the time he sought treatment, Rehnquist was taking three times the prescribed dose of the drug nightly.[92]

On December 27, 1981, Rehnquist entered George Washington University Hospital for treatment of back pain and dependency on Placidyl. There, he underwent a month-long detoxification process.[92] While hospitalized, he had typical withdrawal symptoms, including hallucinations and paranoia. For example, "One doctor said Rehnquist thought he heard voices outside his hospital room plotting against him and had 'bizarre ideas and outrageous thoughts', including imagining 'a CIA plot against him' and seeming to see the design patterns on the hospital curtains change configuration."[93]

What proof do you have she is an alcoholic? You disgust me.

I did heard liberals say he should retire. Ginsberg is now six years older than Rehnquist was, and she's hoping for another few years. He hadn't had cancer prior to the cancer at his death vs. Ginsberg who has had cancer several times. His death furthers the case that she should resign now. And, Dems would be screaming if the positions of Rehnquist and Ginsberg were reversed - and, if you take a moment to stop lying to yourself, you'd know it.
Ape lives matter. Stop putting them in zoos. Boycott businesses that don't hire apes.

Then answered all the Jews, and said, Jesus' blood be on us, and on our children. So be it.
Jews want to turn America into an atheistic, amoral, socialist farmyard.

Who did? the constitution is dead. McConnell picks Supreme Court judges now. Besides, she was 10 years younger and did not want to retire.

Agreed. Like her lung cancer, they are lying about the return of her pancreatic cancer.

Just a fun little tip, usually when bile duct stents are place, it is typically for end of life care. The tumor must have been significant if they had to remove part of the bile duct. Just sayin.

I understand this is a death sentence for anyone, the recurrence of pancreatic cancer.
    Please hold on.

She could easily go past 2020—that’s not even a year and a half. Or it can go the other way.
How long ago was she treated for lung cancer? This is not good. Don't believe the propaganda you are being fed. Ginsberg is sick. Very sick. It is actually a sickness of the left that they are not allowing her to die with dignity all for politics.

As sick as Ginsberg is, the left who can't let her retire in peace are even sicker. Leftism is a sick disease

You're lying to yourself if you don't believe that close to 40 years if addiction to sleeping pills can't affect a person's judgment. IMO that's worse than having and beating cancer.

    I see this as a win-win.

If RGB dies, dems will claim that we need to wait until the next presidential cycle to replace it. That will further energize the GOP base.

If she hangs on like some kind of mutant in a sci-fi story, that will show voters just how little liberals care about effective government.
