Let the states choose their path based on what their citizens want and vote for. The federal government is not all-knowing and a one size fits all approach will benefit only those who create the plan and nobody else.

I recently learned that lots of CO2 has been dissolving into the oceans, which raises the acidity of the ocean and has begun to affect sea life. Oysters, which are the natural filters of dirty water, and corals, which support the basis of vast diversity and base level of the food chain have been affected, as are many other species.

Krill are an important basis of the ocean food chain. Their ability to make shells is reduced as ocean acidity rises. So many larger species and predator fish depend on them. Fish that we eat could suddenly begin to disappear. There are a lot of very disturbing side affects of industrialization that we never thought of. We must have a unified response to this global problem. Piecemeal won't get it. Bernie does get it.
