I was reading an Op-Ed yesterday in which the assertion was made that Trump simply cannot win by relying on the popular vote-losing base that gave him an electoral college win in 2016. Ain't gonna work for him.
The main reason being that his 2016 base, demographically, was so old and elderly that a lot of them are already dead, or will be dead before the November 2020 election - and secondly, that millenials and those coming of voting age are increasingly and consistently voting more liberal and Democratic.
