"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

""Even though Walsh presumably is more representative of traditional Republicanism""

Has any liberal posting here has even researched Walsh or know who he is. He's a tea party Republican who for years was a mini-me Trump. He's the opposite of your traditional country club, Mitt Romney or George Will Republican.

Trump hovers around 90% approval among Republicans. If they exhumed Reagan, he might have a chance.

And that’s with a constant 24/7/365 media campaign against him.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
