Werewolf Will you accept Chinese economic hegemony?

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Yeah. The USA is the 'dominant military power'. If we have to fight WW2 again, we will kick everybody's asses.
Space and Cyber Warfare is probably the 'next' War.

I think your next question depends on if the US wants to engage in a joint alliance between Corporations and the Government, like the Chinese do in promoting their national corporate enterprises.
Think of the Russians and Sputnik. In response, the Americans formed NASA, a joint Government/Corporate entity.
In the 'Technology Race', the Chinese are winning because their government is totally on board with their national corporations. Any chance the US Government will team with Silicon Valley?
Or ... would that be 'socialism'.

Not that simple. Their economy is ours. Our corporations moved there lock, stock and intellectual property for short term profits, They loved cheap unprotected labor and no environmental regulations. http://www.jiesworld.com/internation...s_in_china.htm
Our ownership class and execs moved to China giving away all the manufacturing systems and knowledge we gained over the last century.

I agree. Coca-Cola, Levis, and all the rest, sold their Souls to gain a Market of one billion consumers. GREAT for the Shareholding Class, not so great for the American Working Class.
We're in a Global economy, there is no turning back.

In my opinion, we need to make a Decision on which 'system' is going to be viable in the Future. A strictly 'Private Enterprise' system (current American), or a 'State/Corporate Enterprise' system (current Chinese).

On a personal bias, I would hate for the US to be reliant on Chinese Technology in the Future.

So that means you are, or are not willing to accept our lowered status, essentially the end of Pax AMericana & US domination of the world economy?

China's economic growth is built on the backs of the exploitation of their citizens and the environment. It continues because unlike Trump, Obama did NOTHING.

So you are FOR Trumps policy to force nations engaging in monetary manipulations and protectionist trade policies, to end them and treat us fairly?

TD: "China's economic growth is built on the backs of the exploitation of their citizens and the environment."
    Jack: Yes. And?

TD: "It continues because unlike Trump, Obama did NOTHING."
Jack: Will you continued deep analysis include Hillary?

TD: "So you are FOR Trumps policy to force nations engaging in monetary manipulations and protectionist trade policies, to end them and treat us fairly?"
Jack: I think that was what the WTO was suppose to do.

I think a stumbling block might be the State/Corporate Enterprises in China that are outcompeting our Corporate Enterprises in the US. I don't think China is going to give up that relationship.

I wish you would learn how to reply/quotes you dunce.

China cannot compete in a fair and open market. They cannot allow their citizens to participate without complete control from the State.

China must manipulate their currency in order to prop up their economy. China must exploit their citizens in order to prop up their economy. China must allow the exploitation of their environment without environmental restrictions in order to prop up their economy.

Comparing China's GDP to Americas is stupid because they are like apples and oranges.

Over time, the Chinese will find it more difficult to exploit their citizens and the environment and that will impact their growth.

They are STEALING it. When Trump ends that, they will continue to LOSE that war. Stealing technology is not winning. It is theft of intellectual property which China also exploits.

Yeah. I think it all started with the Silkworm thing.
