Werewolf trump says he is seriously looking at ending birthright citizenship

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - trump said on Wednesday that his administration was seriously looking at ending the right of citizenship for U.S.-born children of noncitizens and people who immigrated to the United States illegally.

"We're looking at that very seriously, birthright citizenship, where you have a baby on our land, you walk over the border, have a baby - congratulations, the baby is now a U.S. citizen. ... It's frankly ridiculous," Trump told reporters outside the White House.

Trump has made cracking down on immigration a central plank of his presidency and re-election campaign, but many of the administration's sweeping rule changes and executive orders have been stymied by the courts.

The Republican president had told Axios news website in October 2018 that he would end "birthright citizenship" through an executive order. Experts have said such a move would run afoul of the U.S. Constitution.

The Constitution's 14th Amendment, passed after the Civil War to ensure that black Americans had full citizenship rights, granted citizenship to "all persons born or naturalized in the United States."

It has since routinely been interpreted to grant citizenship to most people born in the United States, whether or not their parents are American citizens or legally living in the United States.

(Reporting by Jeff Mason; Writing by Makini Brice; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama and Jonathan Oatis)
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Frederick Trump (born Friedrich Drumpf; 14 March 1869 – 30 May 1918) was a German–American businessman and the patriarch of the Trump family. Born in Kallstadt, in the Kingdom of Bavaria (now in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany), he emigrated to the United States at the age of 16 and started working as a barber. Several years later, in 1891, he moved to the Northwest. He allegedly made his fortune by operating restaurants and brothels in Seattle and the mining town Monte Cristo, and brothels in the Klondike Gold Rush.[1][2] He later returned to Kallstadt and married. Bavarian authorities accused him of emigrating when he was young to avoid fulfilling his military service, so he lost his Bavarian citizenship; he and his family returned to the United States. He never legally became a United States citizen.
He worked as a barber and hotel manager, and began to acquire real estate in Queens. He was the father of Frederick Christ Trump and John G. Trump, and grandfather of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States.
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. I hope he does, but he'll probably fail at that too.

Trump is correct. The 14th. Amendment was not written so any illegal can come here and have a litter of American citizens who then are eligible for government handouts.
Keep families together, arrest and deport them all.

After listening to Trump's presser last night or the night before, whatever and now this...

I am voting for Trump this time.

This immigration issue was never considered back then, laws change, and this one needs to change. And whiny democrats can STFU because they love changing laws they don't like.

Trump is correct in this matter.

Trump makes a lot of noise. We have to discuss it since he is in office. That is such a waste. Melania brought her family over, yet Trump is against chain immigration. Trump's mother followed her brother over after he was established enough. More chain migration.
Trump is a mess. The rules he wants for others never apply to him.

    Right on.

Which would, of course, invalidate Trump's citizenship, and right to even be President.
