First of all I reject your premise as it is faulty. Capitalism doesn't create people who starve. Yes, there are winners and losers in free markets. That is the consequence of human choices not of some arbitrary economic label.

I believe in freedom. Freedom for people to exchange the fruits of their labor absent government coercion.

You will have to explain how people were made poorer in the aggregate when Henry Ford perfected the assembly line and brought mass produced automobiles to the people? Sure, people who made a living making buggy whips were probably not going to find a huge need for their service, but that doesn't necessarily mean they starve does it?

I care so much about the poor that I donate my OWN money voluntarily to many charities and also volunteer my time. You outsource your supposed compassion to the federal gobblement. Studies and tax filings of democrat candidates show that you and your ilk are the least generous people when it comes to YOUR own money.

So spare my your faux moral imperatives. You do not care about the poor. You care about controlling others.
