    Default Qu'est-ce que c'est covfefe?

An ally of President Emmanuel Macron is vowing to make Parisians fluent in English.

Benjamin Griveaux made the pledge as part of his campaign to become mayor of Paris. The former government spokesman and confidant of the president said it was deplorable that “Paris is a global city where we speak English badly, when it is an essential language to travel and work".

Mr Griveaux wants to introduce English in nurseries and organise extra-curricular activities in English.

Then they'll be able to read Trump's tweets in the original.

    Qu'est-ce que c'est covfefe?

    English translation:

    What is covfefe?

    A very good question!

We're all still trying to figure that one out.

The best we can come up with is that if an individual is extremely worried about what the media might be saying about him (because there is so much dirt on him) to the point that he is unable to sleep normally, and finds himself up in the middle of the night, tweeting away about nonsense, That is called 'covfefe.'

"Mr Griveaux said he hoped that a “dissident” candidacy by Mr Villani would not upset his attempt to wrest the mayorship from Anne Hidalgo, the Socialist incumbent."

    Very interesting.

    Let us hope Hidalgo prevails.

The socialist French health care system is far superior to the US system

There is a very informative piece on it in Michael Moore's film about the Health Care industry:

"In France, Moore visits a hospital and interviews the head of obstetrics and gynaecology and a group of American expatriates. Moore rides with the "SOS Médecins", a 24-hour French medical service that provides house calls by physicians.[7] Moore discovers that the French government provides many social services and rights in addition to health care, such as daycare for $1 an hour, free college education, a minimum five weeks paid vacation by law, vacation, and neonatal support that includes cooking, cleaning, and laundry services for new mothers. "

AWESOME! The French are finally starting to come to terms that French is indeed NOT the worlds language and that it is indeed ENGLISH.

No it is not. In fact, Government controlled and managed systems are woefully inadequate and fail their citizens.

Why are you so determined to become a ward of the State? Are you that big of a failure in your personal life?

Maybe you should spend some time out of the country in a Socialist utopia like Cuba or Mainland China?

Griveaux is going to scoop up all the Parisian Trump lovers. Ms Hidalgo doesn't stand a chance unless she promises to rename the Arc de Triomphe the Arc de Trump.

Too bad. The worst thing they could do would be to try to emulate the American health (don't care) system.

Stupid, if he was smart, forward thinking, he would be teaching them something practical like Mandarin- the new lingua franca..

English is on the way out.......
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

My wife has a political friend she talked to the other day. He had not been around. She found out he went to Turkey for hair plugs. They were 35K in America. He got them done for 1750 bucks and thinks they are great. Nobody wants to emulate our system. When Taiwan was making a healthcare system, they came here. The said they wanted to see what NOT to do.

Really? Let me help. Roughly translated, it means, "triggered lib". Maybe a visual aid can be of some benefit.
