IMHO there should have been a world response to this lawlessness..

Waiting will only make the matter worse & give them the illusion of sovereignty.............

Seems like only a few weeks ago you were always talking about soft-power etc......
they use hard and soft power of course. China has a big foot print (soft power) in Africa as well as Asia

Been giving this a lot of thought today, doing some research & I see a striking resemblance to a particular country after ww1, which felt it was wronged ..

They have a bunch of claims to everything, as if their claims make it their sovereignty, when in fact much of that is bull shit & was in dispute not just because of the western powers but because of internal weaknesses..........

If the world allows them to get away w/ the power plays, they will make others until their stopped, like had to happen in ww2...........
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
