A jury found a grocery clerk guilty of killing a 17-year-old boy who ran out of the store with a beer he didn't pay for in Memphis, Tennessee, in a case that had sparked protests, authorities said.

At the very least, this clerk should get the minimum sentence for the conviction. Victims with guns make us all safer. Anyone that shoots dead over a two dollar walk out of a youth should probably face some serious repercussions. They are dangerous thoughtless and stupid. They fall under a reason training should be required to use a gun like everything else that's dangerous.

The defendant has been convicted of murder. I'd say that's a pretty serious repercussion.
