We know it will happen at some point because it inevitably does, the question will be the severity and how long does it last.

Housing prices are correcting (read: dropping) in multiple markets. But that's not necessarily a bad thing nor does it necessarily mean a housing recession is on the horizon. But I do believe housing prices have been propped up by artificially low rates. As long as rates stay low the residential market will probably stay the course. It's not a sustainable thing though. Easy money can't last forever.
you/we have been saying that a long time now........

I am pondering moving, prob to southern Oregon- about an hour or so radius around Ashland~ Medford, outside Grants Pass..

Looking @ several place in HOT AS HELL Calif like Yreka, weed, but those places are terrible now, like opiate infested Appalachia in Nor Cal...
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

To your first sentence you’re not wrong. I have been saying it for awhile. It’s like the people predicting the next recession, they’ll be right at some point.

And what I’m saying isn’t coming from a partisan place. It’s not about one “side” winning office. We have fundamentally distorted our economy with these low rates. I think people can sense that even if they can’t articulate it.

Best of luck if you do move! You ready for something different? a cost of living thing? (I bring up the cost of living thing because my wife wants to move out of SF for that reason)

122 degrees might be Phoenix's hottest, but Arizona has seen hotter
Twenty-eight years later and Phoenix's highest temperature still tops the thermometer, but it might seem cool when compared to Arizona's hottest.

June 26, 1990 is a day a generation of Phoenicians will probably always remember.

It was a very hot day. Actually, the city's hottest day ever.

The mercury shot up to 122 degrees on June 26, 1990 marking the all-time record high temperature set at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Maher stands by recession remarks: 'Very worth' getting rid of Trump

Comedian Bill Maher on Friday continued his calls for another economic recession, claiming it would tank President Trump's shot at reelection in 2020 and be "very worth" ending his policies.

Speaking with a panel with political consultant Rick Wilson and journalists Betsy Woodruff and Carl Hulse, Maher dismissed criticism from people who “get mad” at rooting for a recession, singling out Fox News's Sean Hannity in particular and noting “I do not have this power.”

“I’m just saying we can survive a recession. We've had 47 of them. We've had one every time there's a Republican president,” Maher declared. “They don’t last forever. You know what lasts forever? Wiping out species!”

Maher and his panel criticized the Trump administration’s announcement on Monday that it would push to roll back protections for endangered species and allow for economic factors to be weighed before adding animals to the list.

The "Real Time" host blasted Trump over the move, calling the rollback “what any evil villain would do.”

Maher finished his show of support for a recession by declaring, “Yes, a recession would be very worth getting rid of Donald Trump and these kinds of policies.”

Last week, Maher told his audience that he "really" wished there was another economic recession, arguing such an event would ruin Trump's chances of winning reelection.

Maher also made similar comments last June on his show, at the time saying "bring on the recession" to get rid of the president.

"Sorry if that hurts people, but it's either root for a recession or you lose your democracy," he said then.
