I definitely do not want a real estate crash. That sucked ass when Bush did that to everyone costing all of us
trillions. Since Obama got us back the last thing we need is Trump tanking us again. He will lose due to his
integral-personal sucking without exogenous help in the form of failed macro economics. My family regained its equity in
a dozen properties after a long hard pull out from the La Brea tarpit of Republican failure.

Like you said there are numerous topics I’m not well versed on and generally don’t say a whole lot about either.

In this case people are responding having only read the heading and having no clue of the argument being made.
IOW you buy condemned rat infested hovels and stage the shit out of them, turn a quick buck and victimize retirees out of their life savings!

If I could answer the question about the recession I'd be a rich man but I'm not that smart. I've posted on here things from people I read who have spoken about areas of concern in our economy and globally that could bring about a recession. We know it will happen at some point because it inevitably does, the question will be the severity and how long does it last.

Housing prices are correcting (read: dropping) in multiple markets. But that's not necessarily a bad thing nor does it necessarily mean a housing recession is on the horizon. But I do believe housing prices have been propped up by artificially low rates. As long as rates stay low the residential market will probably stay the course. It's not a sustainable thing though. Easy money can't last forever.

That's what I do if I were smart! Unfortunately I'm not smart and I generally put a bunch of money into them.

Another that doesn't understand the difference between monetary and fiscal policy. By the way, your mate Billy Blowjob sowed the seeds of the last financial meltdown but you'll never accept that, will you?

but we have both seen it often enough.....
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Yes what is different is the Fed is no longer in a position to pump trillions of QE dollars into the economy like they did last time to artificially inflate the Obama economy.
