The NRA itself says the gun its lobbyist wants little girls to have is actually 'for adults.'

The NRA's top lobbyist in Florida argued against a proposed assault weapons ban, complaining that if the law passes, young children might not get rifles for their birthdays.

"How do you tell a 10-year-old little girl who got a Ruger 10/22 with a pink stock for her birthday that her rifle is an assault weapon and she has to turn it over to government or be arrested for felony possession?" asked Marion Hammer at a Friday meeting of Florida economists to oppose the proposed ban.

The NRA and other pro-gun advocates in the state have complained that the proposal, which would be voted on in a referendum in 2020, is too broad, even though a recent Quinnipiac poll showed that 59% of Florida voters support an assault weapons ban in the state.

Your "link" has no "link", to this comment you're complaining about; but what is the problem with a child receiving a firearm on their birthday??

UNTRUE; because guns are made to fire a bullet and what the person holding that gun decides to do, dictates the outcome; just like auto drivers make decisions that affect others.

Would you care to explain how "irresponsible" people are dying from cancer and heart disease??

Bumping for all the JPP liberals.

I've asked several times and not ONE JPP LIBERAL has ever been able to answer it:

During the 50's, 60's, and 70's trucks with gun racks, with guns in them, were common in school parking lots and yet, there was nothing like the shootings we have now; so, WHAT CHANGED??

During the fifties, America was about 90% white. Having some minorities is fine, but having too many destroys the national identity and culture. Multiracial societies have low social trust and constant fighting over representation.

Is this your "guess" or do have actual information to support your comment??

You failed to provide a description of what is multiracialism.

And if you want a contemporary example, look at what's happening in modern American politics. We're becoming more divided because we no longer feel like a single people anymore.

You failed to provide a description of what is multiracialism.
Most adults know what multiracialism is already, but here goes.

Multiracialism is the idea or practice of a society being somewhat equally composed of various races. I'll agree that no country is 100% any single race. However, America was an ethnostate for most of its history in that we favored white immigrants in order to keep America as white as possible. And this worked very well, since even during the fifties, the white population didn't fall below 85%.
In 1965, it was officially decided by the government that we were no longer going to favor white immigrants, but we were promised this new move wasn't going to change America all that much. Clearly, we were lied to.

First - It appears that you're trying to use someone else's conclusions as a basis for your explanation, which doesn't answer the question I asked.

Secondly - The US did not "favor" white immigrants in order to keep America white and just because the majority of those wanting to immigrate to the US, does not mean what you're suggesting.

No, I'm using research as basis for saying that multiracialism causes lower social trust and alienation.

If you want my own observations, look at what is happening in America right now.

I don't blame you for not knowing this, I blame the American education system.

NO, you did not use "research"; because you just glommed onto someone else's conclusions, that you agree with.

It's so sad that you have shown that you don't even know what de facto means.
