Thanks, again. Because I hadn't seen my dad in over 5 years, his passing didn't seem real. Now the reality is setting in. It's not a good feeling, but I know this will pass. I will forever love my father and will always be grateful that he raised me (along with my mother) the best he could. He taught me how to be a decent person and to respect all of those you meet in your life. He was a good man.

This world truly needs more people like that. They make it worth living. Those traits are handed down through you and your sister. That is a good thing!

Thank you so much for that. I hadn't seen my dad for over 5 years because he was in Arizona and I'm in Indiana. His health deteriorated very quickly. He was doing pretty well until a few months ago. He passed so quickly my sister and I weren't able to make it to Arizona to see him. He went into Hospice 15 days ago and passed just one day later. I will miss this man. We talked at least once a week. He was more than a father to me, he was a friend, as well. He helped shape my appreciation of music and was there to give me sage advice when I was confused. He was a good and kind man. Rest in peace, Dad.
