A small child who is still developing can be influenced or pressured into doing things that they may not know are wrong or that could result in their death. If you are asking about good heart vs bad heart then that’s a different conversation. A person that knows and loves Jesus and has a good heart knows that their choices are a reflection upon themselves and don’t look for blame when they stray. If He is in your heart then chances are your choices will reflect that. Being angry enough to murder people because of a politicians rhetoric is not an excuse for mass murder.

Kids are all different. Brothers in the same household can come out very different yet they are treated almost identically. In the end, it is not the message you send, but how and whether a kid accepts it. Religious people love to pretend their teachings make better people.
