Siberia Is On Fire. Greenland Ice Sheets Are Melting. But There's No Global Warming.
Go Figure.
We have got to get rid of Trump and get serious about Climate Change.
Conservatives have been asking for proof that the climate is changing.
!!! IT'S ALL AROUND US !!!

I never thought I would hear that Siberia was on fire.
I have always thought of Siberia as a very VERY cold place.
Things change when idiots are in charge.

Greenland ice sheets melt every year. Then they rebuild during winter. Obviously the degree of melt and replacement varies by year.
as for Siberia. It is indeed a very cold place relative to the rest of the planet. But it also has massive forests. Fires occur annually there, just as they do in most forests around the world (especially those with drier climates). Dry conditions and wind are a bad combo. Especially in an area that isn't heavily populated and doesn't have the manpower and equipment to fight such a fire.
Pretending this is due to global warming is a stretch (being extremely generous here).

Or you are simply an idiot that doesn't bother to research anything.
Just because a location is cold, doesn't mean it cannot have fires.
Fires in Siberian forests occur every year. Took 3 seconds to find that out with a google search.
Just another case of fear mongering AGW cultists scaring buffoons that don't bother to research anything.

That's because you're an ill educated lefty loony. Siberia, especially the western half, can be brutally hot upwards of 35 C in Summer.

Siberia is covered in dense, boreal forest and anywhere there is dense forest and summer lightning strikes there is a possibility of forest fires. The northern boreal forests of Canada routinely have forest fires.
However, there is no question this particular fire is massive, and that scientists are confident that the frequency and intensity of forest fires will regionally increase as the climate changes.
On a sidebar: the northern, globe-spanning boreal forest system in one of the planets most important carbon sinks - I think I read they are as equally important as the tropical equitorial rain forests. I hadn't thought of the boreal system as a critical piece of the carbon sink cycle, but I guess I should.

Lightning causes fires all the time. Unless its absolute zero, combustion can happen.

Again you idiot, saying that it was hot and dry does not equate to 'man made global warming caused this'.
The same thing happened back in 2003. Yet it didn't happen to that scale since. So if global warming was the cause, why has it been 16 years since the largest ever????

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...d-rate-forest/Climate change warning as Arctic Circle burning at record rate
An unprecedented outbreak of wildfires in the Arctic has sent smoke across Eurasia and released more carbon dioxide in two months than the Czech Republic or Belgium does in a year.
As 44C heatwaves struck Europe, scientists observed more than 100 long-lasting, intense fires in the Arctic in June, the hottest month on record, and are seeing even more in July, according to Mark Parrington of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.
Mostly in Alaska and Russia, the infernos have collectively released more than 120 million tonnes of CO2, more than the annual output of most countries. It is the most carbon emitted since satellite monitoring began in the early 2000s.
