    The article is correct, there is a shortfall of S.S. and benefits are going to have to be cut or taxes raised (or both). Politicians don't want to deal with that.
    They should just add a 2% tax to anything over $500k in earnings. Done. SS isn't the problem. Medicare is.

    WRONG. Wages are increasing because of market forces, not because of any minimum wage law. Minimum wage laws are price controls. They do the same thing as any other price controls. They cause shortages, in this case, available jobs.

    The wages that are increasing were already well above minimum wages to begin with. You are making a false equivalence fallacy.
