Well I’ll be, you ignorant fucks. Look who’s responsible for setting the exempt level at $35,000!
“But capitalism abhors a vacuum, so over time, more and more low-paid workers found themselves in the category of being salaried and ineligible for overtime. The Obama administration tried to tackle this with a Labor Department regulation mandating overtime for anyone earning less than $47,000, but it was challenged in court and the Trump administration elected not to defend the rule, instead writing a new rule that set the threshold at $35,000. At an annual salary just below that threshold, Sanders’s field staff would be collecting lots of overtime and thus earning more than $36,000, but instead, their salary was pegged (perhaps not coincidentally) to be just above the exempt threshold.”

They should not be working more than those settled upon hours so I see no issue here. The self-described socialist candidate said junior field organizers earn roughly $36,000 per year in salary, with employer-paid health care and sick leave. But he acknowledged that their salary can effectively dip below $15 per hour if staffers work much more than 40 hours per week, which is common on presidential campaigns.
The solution is to "limit the number of hours staffers work to 42 or 43 each week to ensure they’re making the equivalent of $15 an hour," he told the Register's Brianne Pfannenstiel.
Wrong as rightys are. Bernie was one of the poorest senators for many years. He just started making money when his books became popular. https://www.businessinsider.com/bern...k-sales-2019-2 He is no hypocrite.
The min wage has been studied for generations. It has been elevated many times and in many places including the US, There is a very small drop in employment when it happens, but it recovers and gets better after a while. Raising the min wage creates more demand. Poorer people spend their money. That results in more business activity and soon, more jobs.
It also results in less flood stamps and less public money required to help families survive. That should please rightys,
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
You ignorant fucks demonstrated your massive stupidity on this thread and I kicked the ass of every one of you idiots.
Now, you want more, shit-for-brains? What a glutton for punishment!
You never did tell us, dickbreath, which part of the Constitution did you write?
