Hilarious, Rush Limpballs after 8 years of bitching about deficits now defends Trump by saying they don’t matter.
Limbaugh: "Nobody is a fiscal conservative anymore. All this talk about concern for the deficit and the budget has been bogus"
The GOP is bogus.
I’m glad the pretense is finally over, or are there any real
Republicans left?

If the GOP can have their way in fixing the budget deficit, they will force austerity on the working class. The GOP is the Plutocrat's Party.

what kind of title is this? Limbaugh never says "budget deficits don't matter"
he's saying nobody takes it seriously anymore and they don't - including RepublicansNobody is a fiscal conservative anymore. All this talk about concern for the deficit and the budget has been bogus for as long as it’s been around.
We have to look at the history here. There were true fiscal deficit and budget hawks in Congress a half century and longer ago. From the Republican perspective it did little good as Democrats controlled Congress and continued to expand entitlement programs along with new spending while Republicans fought against them and never won office. At some point I'm sure they just said F this we're tired of losing and threw fiscal conservatism out the window.
In the last few decades those in office pay lip service to deficits but it's not been a priority to them or voters. I don't know the full story here but Rush has been on record for speaking to the importance of the deficit and debt and how bad they are (this was when Obama was in office). So on the surface it does look hypocritical what he's saying today compared to how he framed it just a decade ago. But saying the deficits and debt don't matter to most politicians and voters would be accurate.
