I was in Vietnam at a radio site called ROK South, someone had a small portable TV, was able to watch the landing?!!

Electrifying stuff.

It is actually one of my first lucid memories in life. Sitting in front of a grainy black and white TV with my older brother watching Neil Armstrong step onto the moon was intoxicating. Even as a little kid, I knew something magical and special was happening, and to this day the memory of watching those grainy pictures is still etched onto my neurons.

I was 13 years old sitting in my living room with the rest of my family! I remember how excited I was. Truly a memorable experience.
