There are many smart poor people
and many dumb rich ones. Money isn't a proxy IQ test.
There are paths to money that do not tax mental faculties.
Inheritance, luck, marriage, exploitation, sustained extreme effort, self assuredness (warranted or not), greed,
theft, in addition to cunning, guile and brains.
In Trump's case, he inherited money, exploited people, was ruthless and has an overconfidence
that people are attracted to. The man is successful in acquiring wealth based upon use of
a fraudulent persona. That bold part is a single idea that he presses constantly. He plays the
role of a handsome, winning, playboy, brash unapologetic money guy and it created a self fulfilling prophesy as a "brand"
Along the way he lies cheats and steals. Again, that is not high brainpower stuff. That is just "I ain't paying for what I took"
stuff.
That simple skill and idea is not a giant brain that can solve other complicated problems. He was handed the company business
so he is not Mr Bootstraps.
Greed and high brainpower can coexist and often do, but they do not in Trump
