Default Barr stopped SDNY investigation of Trump, Schiff wants to know what's up with that

"There are still a great many questions unanswered by the documents made public [ by the United States District in Manhattan on 7-18-19], including Trumpís legal exposure when he leaves office, but the one of most immediate concern to me [Schiff] is the involvement, if any, of Attorney General Barr. Barr testified that he believes it was within the Presidentís power to stop any investigation into his own potential criminality if he felt an investigation was unfair. Barr has demonstrated there are no lengths to which he will not go to protect the President, and I believe it is of paramount importance to determine if he had any involvement in the SDNYís investigation or sought to bring it to a close."

Adam Schifty Schiff is a lying, hyper partisan buffoon and can pound sand.

    Article 1, Section 1:

“Although not specifically mentioned in the Constitution, Congress has also long asserted the power to investigate and the power to compel cooperation with an investigation.[9] The Supreme Court has affirmed these powers as an implication of Congress's power to legislate.[10] Since the power to investigate is an aspect of Congress's power to legislate, it is as broad as Congress's powers to legislate.[11] However, it is also limited to inquiries that are "in aid of the legislative function;"[12] Congress may not "expose for the sake of exposure."

There is no “ legislative function” in this case .

    The A/G prevails.

    Case closed.
