Default Trump's approval with Republicans rose by 5 points after his racist tweets

Seems like good news for Trump, right? Nope.

"The poll found that about 30% of independents supported Trump, dropping from roughly 40% last week."

    Elections are decided by Independents.

If that were true, Romney would have won in 2012. He didn’t.

    Just sayin

Independents didn't like Romney. Even a lot of Conservatives either didn't like him or were luke warm about him.

It all depends on who dims nominate in '20. If you want Trump gone, best to hope Biden gets it.
Open borders, reparations, student loan forgiveness and eliminating private hlth. insurance are all losers and deal breakers for most.

Biden would just be another Hillary. He's an establishment candidate who changes his stances with the culture. Like Trump, he doesn't believe in shit.
I think Sanders and Harris are the only ones who stand a chance. Not saying I like them, just that they have the best chance.

Open borders is a republican theme. No serious Dems are for it. Just a red boogieman. Private health insurance has to go. It is looting Americans and providing bad healthcare. The system is terrible. Get real ill and the fact of what insurance companies are doing will cure your love of our system. Insurance companies add cost and complexity while they fight providing the care you paid for.
Reparations is another red flag the Repubs are flying. It will not happen.,

I know that. So why do Harris and Warren even mention it? Crazy.

Then you're prepared for having Trump until '24. Bernie's silly, Harris is insane extreme.

Yes, while I think it's too early to call, I've accepted Trump will likely get reelected. But Sanders has that larger than life personality that wins elections and most Americans do agree with him on health care. And Harris has a badass attitude that people like.

    ...these are republicans? DUH!!
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Another Hillary? You mean the 2016 candidate the black boy said was the most qualified to ever run for the office?

So nice that our lovely media decided for all their viewers that the Tweets were ‘racist’.

I wonder how many of the independents are sheeple?
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

These are just random people. How many Democratic nominees have said this?

Just because the fringe has become the mainstream for the GOP, doesn't mean it's the same for the DNC.

You know this isn't going to work, right? Any sane person can tell the tweets were racist. Republicans are cool with racism, so they'll still vote for Trump, but many Independents feel differently.
