Most of the Democrat caucus aren’t on board with Omar’s BDS initiative.

That said, they have a political problem with Omar: if they come down too hard on her they risk alienating their hard left flank. Just as importantly, a full-throated condemnation of Omar’s antisemitism is tantamount to declaring ‘yes, we really do have antisemites in our ranks’.

Recall the soft-peddled resolution that ‘condemned’ Omar for her antisemitic comments about ‘the Benjamins’ and etc.

Fortunately, democrats won’t be able to straddle that fence with very many voters. In fact, it’s just a matter of time before they start losing significant Jewish votes.
