I guess the media has some work to do
Thanks for that link. It is always important to read beyond the headlines: " the poll that was conducted among 1,003 participants who were all white and had less than two years of college."

It was also not conducted within her own district.

The resolution is very unusual and historic. Trump was chastised for being a bigot and hater. A president has not been slapped like this in over 100 years. We all know what Trump is. The fact that almost all Reds stayed in step with the Trump's marching tune says so much about them. The lines are being drawn. The haters and bigots are now open about their hate It will be interesting to see if that hate drives away any voters.

Immigration "has defined every stage of American history", it said, adding that "all Americans, except for the descendants of Native people and enslaved African-Americans, are immigrants or descendants of immigrants".

It also noted that patriotism is not defined by race or ethnicity, "but by devotion to the Constitutional ideals of equality, liberty, inclusion and democracy".

    How significant is this?

There have been only four congressional votes to approve resolutions aimed at censuring or condemning a president, according to a 2018 report by the Congressional Research Service.

The last occasion was against William Howard Taft in 1912, when he was accused of trying to influence a disputed Senate election."

"It passed by 240 votes to 187.

Four Republicans and the House's sole independent, former Republican lawmaker Justin Amash, joined all 235 Democrats to approve the resolution

The four Republicans were Texas congressman Will Hurd (the party's only African American representative), Brian Fitzpatrick (Pennsylvania), Fred Upton (Michigan) and Susan Brooks (Indiana).

Passing a resolution - which is a statement of opinion and not legally binding - criticising presidential conduct is very rare. "

Some Republicans tried to lash out at Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for calling the tweets racist, but that was quickly quashed.
But nothing he said was about race, ethnicity or immigration status. This is why the house is basically full of clowns.

OK, so you have your 'out.'

You have your way to justify support for Trump, even though most of the nation disapproves of him, and our United States House of Congress voted to condemn him for it.

Most of the world thought the world was flat. Because most of anyone does anything is not a sufficient argument for it.

Nothing he said was about race, ethnicity or immigration status. The house resolution was a lie, and you bought it.

I suspect you know what he is talking about. He is using racism and it is not well hidden. You have to delude yourself to make your claim.

That’s a lie. He clarified his tweet countless times. The fact that you have to remove most of the quote and tear it from its context and plug your ears when he clarified proves the delusion is yours.

Trump's tweet was totally racist because it was aimed at 4 women of color.

And seriously, the old 'love it or leave it' garbage? Man. You guys are easy. Trot out a bunch of tired hateful rhetoric and it's like a dog whistle.

It was aimed at "Progressive Democrat Congresswomen" that has said negative things about the country in the past. Why do you feel the need to call those congress women "women of color" ? Is it to feed into victimization for the women that are members of congress?
