Trump, his administration and his followers rely on deflection and talking over those who question them. I wonder if they have a trainer for it, They do it so obviously and blatantly. Kellyanne is a magpie on TV. One question and she talks through the whole segment non-stop. Commercial ends and she starts over. It is what rightys and Trumpies do.
Trump does the "excuse me. excuse me"trick to stop others from talking. He is rude and aggressive. He would be more honest just saying shut up, I will interrupt and talk when I want to. It is what he does.
Note, Trump does no press conferences and has ended the daily press briefings. That is what he calls transparency.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
