I Googled "did ilhan omar marry her brother". In the first three pages of results, Snopes is the only source casting doubt on the story. The rest consist of RW blogs and "news" sources either stating that it's true, or heavily implying that it is. One discusses the rumor vis a vis tax issues but doesn't state that her ex-husband was her brother. (http://www.startribune.com/new-docum...age/511681362/) At any rate, she moved here when she was a child and became a citizen at age 17. So there was no need to marry someone in order to get into the country.
