BY JULIEGRACE BRUFKE - 07/15/19 01:15 PM EDT

Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) said Monday that he plans to force a vote on impeachment this month in the wake of President Trump’s inflammatory tweets telling a group of progressive Democratic congresswomen to "go back" to where they came from.

Green — who unsuccessfully forced a vote on impeachment in 2017, with just 58 Democrats supporting the effort on the floor — said he feels he needs to take action due to the president’s recent rhetoric.

"I will again, this month, bring impeachment to a vote on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for bigotry in policy, harmful to our society," he tweeted. #RacistPresident #ImpeachNow

Boo fucking hoo. The President has first amendment rights also. And he just happens to be absolutely correct. If anyone is offended by what he said, they need to blame their parents for raising pussies.

Deport Omar Ilhan. Or Ilhan Omar, whatever her name is. Or at least find out if she married her brother.

btw, how will the Dems fare in 2020 after doing nothing about this traitor Trump …. just wrung their hands and said "we're kicking back and waiting for the election, then we'll make a lame attempt to rebuild the nation working with a Republican Senate"

with an 'opposition party' like this why not just disband it, serving no practical purpose

The Democrats should not be worrying about Trump. They need to worry about themselves. The party is completely fractured and eating itself from the inside out.

    No.

    This is wrong.

Iron clad evidence needs to be brought.

Definition of iron clad evidence: That would be evidence that even Republicans would agree is irrefutable.

When we can get Republicans to agree that impeachment is warranted, then it can proceed.

We have to have the Senate onboard.

To do so before that point is worse than waiting for the election.

Manafort said Trump would go down on money. That's what it is going to take. Some dirty deal he can't squirm out of being a party to.

Don't believe Barr and Trump, Mueller already presented 'iron clad' evidence of various crimes (conspiracy to defraud the United States & Obstruction of Justice for two), clearly stated he couldn't indict a sitting president

it that's not handing the job off to Congress not sure what is

mark my words, history will not be kind to spineless Pelosi with her 12-D chess, or whatever this is

she's MUCH too timid...……..that's not some kind of genius we're seeing

Last time I looked, impeachment was for "treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors". How do the false claims of a whiny Democrat reach that level?

Apparently Democrats believe getting your ass kicked in a Presidential election warrants impeachment.

If it hasn't been enough to convince a single Republican then the impeachment will fail. Is that what you want?
