Not true. Obama actively set up a program to fight corruption, gang activity and impoverishment in Central America. It addressed the reasons people migrate. Trump refused to build on that success and killed the program. Predictably, the problem has gotten worse.
I'm sure the program is a smashing success if Obama was behind it. Do you just ignore all of the dumb things that Democratic congressmen and candidates say about borders?

Perhaps we should learn why there are so many homeless children on the streets? Try to improve the situation? Try to learn why so many migrants choose to leave family friends and home on a very dangerous journey with an indeterminate end? You know, go to the source of the problem? Or does that make too much sense. Sensible solutions don't always resonate with simple minded hateful xenophobes, and you know what? That's OK.

Success is often the result of trying something, seeing how it works, learning from the effort, modifying the approach, and trying again.

Killing an attempt to accomplish meaningful results, being negative, refusing to listen, refusing to try rarely leads to a good result. It is understandable that the left is not impressed with how this administration is handling immigration of desperation.

"DHS Report: 84% of Illegal Alien Adults Not In Court For Final Case Hearing
    By Brittany M. Hughes | June 30, 2015 | 4:57 PM EDT

(CNSNews.com) – A recent report from the Department of Justice shows that of the nearly 12,500 illegal alien adults who were apprehended with children at the U.S. border and released between July 18, 2014, and May 26, 2015, whose immigration cases have been completed, at least 84 percent did not appear in court for the final decision.

The report states that 35,695 illegal alien adults with children were apprehended illegally at the U.S. border and were subsequently released without being detained between July 18, 2014 and May 26, 2015. Of these, 12,441 have had final rulings on their immigration cases.

About 11,516 of these adults were given orders of removal by an immigration judge. Among these, 10,436 -- about 84 percent of the total number of completed cases -- were ordered removed in absentia, meaning they did not show up to court as scheduled."

Corruption in Central and South America and Mexico is endemic and has been for decades. It will continue due to this corruption and the huge amounts of drug money involved. The aid we send does not go to improve the condition of the people or their economies. You know this but continue your mierda about "simple minded hateful xenophobes."

Middle America is up to here with sending our tax payer, hard earned money to corrupt leaders there.

There are veterans and the poor here who need help and they damn sure come ahead of other countries problems.
