Ryan is another spineless establishment wimp like W.

ReTrumplicans supported W, Ryan and now Rump. They will hate Rump in a few years. Nobody will admit to having supported him.

They loved W with passion and if you said anything negative you were unpatriotic, now they hate him.

He’s no idiot. Truth be known he wasn’t much different than his predecessor.

What’s different now is that we are in the process of both major political parties making paradigm shifts in their constituencies and therefore their political coalitions and policies. So anything can, and probably will, happen.

As I see it now the new political parties each have two broad coalitions. The Democrats are a coalition of middle class professionals aligned with minorities and the Republicans are a coalition of the Corporate managers class and the white working class. So far the extremes of these coalitions have made a bunch of noise but there really hasn’t been a lot of changes.

It will be interesting to see what really does change.

I understand the Bay Area is a bubble and SF and coastal cities are not all of America but look at the amount of wealth on the coasts and how democratic voting they are. These folks aren’t middle class professionals.

But for ideological reasons, not because Ryan disliked or said something negative about them, with Trump it is strictly personal, his ego is too fragile to let any criticism pass, and what makes it sad he is already the most powerful person in the world

This is hilarious he was put up for VP. remember that? Romney picked him. Is that outside the party? Speaker of the House, elected by Repubs from 2015 to 2019. Yeah, he was an outsider. Truth is Trump was the outsider.
Dems don't like him because he is a nutso Libertarian and is a proud creator of the wealth gap.

Well stated. But it is also true that the ReTrumplicans turn on their loved politicians as soon as they are done with them for some reason.

Fair enough. Let’s call them college educated professionals or white collar professionals but by sheer numbers most are middle to upper middle class though certainly some are very wealthy Capitalist. Again these are generalizations about broad coalitions.
