Paul Ryan was a part of Bush’s attempt to offer personal S.S. accounts. He was part of the ad the democrats created showing republicans pushing grandma off a cliff. He was evil personified in many liberal eyes.
He was part of the Republican young guns that was coming to D.C. to install fiscal discipline. Ultimately he didn’t do jack in that regard as prolifigate spending continued under his leadership.
