It doesn't matter, since the past isn't the same as the present. A whole lot of things have changed, and I still can't believe you started out with Lincoln. I also can't believe you're posting a blog for reference.

When it comes to the GOPer party that would be Putin's party of treason and crimes against humanity, civilization and all that is moral and decent.

The Republicans have become the Party of Treason.
The Trump Russia Scandal is predicated on a simple and provable concept: that there is an ongoing long-term “Russian Active Measures” operation in place which filled the Trump campaign with its own assets, potentially including the president himself.
For an Active Measures campaign to be successful, the Russian needed to infiltrate the media and spread as much as disinformation as possible. Chaos is key.

The Republicans have spent the past year waging war on our intelligence and law enforcement agencies, trying to convince the country that there is an ongoing Coup started and funded by Hillary Clinton. They claim the dossier is “fake,” and that anything bad about Trump is obviously fake.
They do this while Donald Trump continues to obstruct justice and destroy our place in the world tweet by tweet."

Has this ever occurred to you in your self proclaimed supremacy?: Many whites were lynched for fighting racism

Black lives matter. They always have. White lives matter, too. The truth is, lives matter. Life matters. So when any life is unjustly taken it is the worst kind of tragedy. But if we refuse to accept facts and instead cling to preconceptions, misconceptions and prejudice, we then choose to replace ignorance with stupidity and history with fantasy.
Lynching is the unjustified setting aside of judicial due process for mob vengeance. Mob violence in the form of lynching brings law into contempt. President Reagan once stated: “Without law, there can be no freedom, only chaos and disorder. And without freedom, law is but a cynical veneer for injustice and oppression.” Lynching is, by definition and by its nature, lawless."

This is why I cringe when people say the less government we have, the freer we are.

Research "Nixon's Southern Strategy", "Dixiecrats" and how those terms came to be. Oh, and you might want to check the voting records on Civil Rights during and after 1964. Times change, but bogus right wing trolls and blowhards evidently don't.
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

Dixiecrats appear to be nothing but fools who are of no use to Democracy or a orderly mannerism of civilization. Dixiecrap out should be more like it in terms of their self worth to society.

RINO is the term for that rare Republican who puts country above party.

Right wing = lie, lie, and lie some more.

The definition of "racist" as "anyone who is white" is itself racist.

We had less government throughout most of the 19th century and massive levels of poverty. It wasn't until more government regulation of business was demanded and the growth of unions in the early 20th century that we started to see more general prosperity. Before that there were a few very rich people and a lot of poor people, much like any banana republic. That's what Trump and the GOP mean by MAGA.

What the Trumpsters don't actually realize is that the big businesses which control Trump can still take away our freedom. At least with government, we can have checks and balances.
