Tax cuts never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever work.

All they do is force deficits which Conservatives then use as an excuse to cut the spending to which they are ideologically opposed, but lack the courage, will, and support to repeal through conventional legislation.

Conservatives act purely in bad faith.
Yeah....that damn 3.2% GDP growth index. THE PEOPLE demand 1.9% normal.

It seems like only yesterday that wingnuts in California were predicting that when Jerry Brown raised taxes it would crash the state's economy.

    Yup.

It also only seems like yesterday that wingnuts all over were predicting that if their Russia Tax Cut passed, it would lead to at least 3% growth.

Actual growth? 2.85%, below Obama's best GDP growth of 2.88% in 2015 without a tax cut.

If you're saying now that isn't going to happen, then there goes your central thesis for the need for tax cuts.

What do spending cuts have to do with increased spending vis-a-vis tax cuts like you promise?

You're the ones who say we need to unleash the economy by cutting taxes...but now you're saying that the economy can't be unleashed unless we cut taxes AND cut spending? How's that work? How does cutting spending grow an economy?

Conservatives are functionally illiterate frauds, and they know it.
Less wealth is taken by an unproductive government.

It did.. Along with all the regulations, and the fact that California is no longer effectively a State of the Union, businesses are moving out of there pretty quickly. Many of California's problems today stem from that idiot.

I don't think the Russians did cut taxes. Of what do you speak of?

What were the ill effects that made the nation suffer following the JFK tax cuts?

"The act cut federal income taxes by approximately twenty percent across the board, and the top federal income tax rate fell from 91 percent to 70 percent. The act also reduced the corporate tax from 52 percent to 48 percent and created a minimum standard deduction."

70% high rate for richies sound just right, so why not, Flash?
