Marillyn Hewson, the company’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement posted on Twitter that she decided to keep the facility in Coatesville open because “it’s a good operation with an excellent workforce.”
but it would have closed without Trump's jawboning

Aww, look at the little snotty liberal losers. They just hate that Trump is a real president and a real success, unlike the Kenyan socialist pig Obama.

Trump will be reelected so buy yourself some hankies.

How do those polls compare with those by the same pollsters just days before the 2016 election?

What did Trump do to the economy? It took him a year to give the wealthy and corporations a 2 trillion dollar tax cut. He added 2 trillion to the debt. Yes, that is great economics. He made the wealth gap worse. oOher than that, he has accomplished nothing.

The company announced the decision Wednesday afternoon, citing high costs for raw material in the United States.

Production will move to existing Ikea Industry manufacturing sites in Europe to meet demand for affordable furniture in North America, company officials said in a news release.

"Conditions are not in place to run competitive production in Danville," site manager Bert Eades said. "Despite many efforts to improve, the cost structure for production in Danville is still too high, especially, when it comes to raw materials. This results in pricing significantly higher than for other existing Ikea plants making the same products."

He said the ongoing tariff wars between the United States and other countries do not play into the high costs.

Ikea is not a U.S. company.

GM was already closing plants, dumbass. That started even before Obama. Because Obama nationalized GM and prevented bankruptcy proceedings to install new management that was more productive, GM's fate was sealed.
