From what I've seen the dim candidates either take no position except to complain about conditions for those being detained or are for open borders. I'd say most take no position except to complain about the condition of detainees.

My position is no open borders and no wall. After reading these threads over the last several years I'm convinced righties conflate the two, as in "if you don't want the wall, you want open borders."

This is what has happened from my perspective. Trump wants his wall. If he gets it he's willing to get very serious about immigration reform.
Dems have gone further left first with sanctuary cities and now two of the main candidates want open borders - Harris and Warren.
What Biden wants is anybody's guess. The only thing I could find was this:
