Default JUDIC'Y MEMBER & REP 'got' EPSTEIN case reopened! WILL AG BARR KILL IT??

For those who don't know this, awhile back a REPUBLICAN shined light on the EPSTEIN CASE and asked for an investigation and that it be reopened. Along with SEVERAL Democrats. It was about a year ago. Keep in mind this case has many many moving parts. Whether Sasse's (Judiciary member) prodding got it opened in the State of NY along with the NY FEDS, all are apparently working together. Will it remain so? Who the F knows?

DO NOT FORGET THAT AG BARR can KILL ANY INVESTIGATION HE WANTS
    .
Unless the State of NY has this thing locked down with or without the FED PROSECUTORS in the Southern District of NY, I haven't a clue what will happen. But remember BARR, Trump's biggest protector was NOT AG when this was opened back up!

And from the YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP FILE, guess who is one of EPSTEIN's defense attorneys besides DERSHOWITZ? Ken Starr. The same Clinton's 'blowjobs were high crimes and misdemeanors' Ken Starr. More interestingly the KEN STARR that was FIRED from his BAYLOR presidency gig because of his (non)handling of sexual assaults by football players on college coeds.

Ben Sasse asks Justice Department to investigate itself on Jeffrey Epstein

Republican Senator Ben Sasse, a member of the Judiciary Committee, has asked the Justice Department to investigate its treatment of multimillionaire serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Why it matters: Infuriated by a bombshell Miami Herald investigative series on Epstein's crimes — which highlighted the sweetheart deal Epstein's lawyers got from Miami's then-top prosecutor Alexander Acosta (now Trump's labor secretary) — Sasse sent three letters to senior Justice officials on Monday, asking them to open investigations into possible misconduct of federal officials who handled the Epstein case.

Details: Sasse sent letters to Assistant Attorney General Brian Benczkowski, the Justice Department's Inspector General Michael Horowitz (embedded below), and the Director of Professional Responsibility Corey Amundson.

    What he's saying:

    • "The fact that this monster received such a pathetically soft sentence is a travesty that should outrage us all," Sasse wrote to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
    • "I am particularly disturbed by this reporting indicating that federal prosecutors went out of their way to arrange this sweetheart deal for Epstein and conceal it from the women and girls that he abused who could have objected to it, in apparent violation of federal law."
    • "We need answers about this epic miscarriage of justice," Sasse wrote. (Axios obtained the three letters Sasse sent to the Justice Department.)

Between the lines: Epstein has paid handsomely to silence his victims. On Tuesday, Epstein settled the civil lawsuit brought by an attorney for some of his alleged victims just before the jury selection was about to begin. Epstein has managed, for now, to keep these accusers from telling their stories in court. But the story isn't going away.
The backdrop: 15 Democratic members of Congress, led by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), sent a letter to Horowitz on Friday, asking him to investigate how Acosta approved the deal. (Acosta was briefly a long-shot contender to replace Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, but following the Miami Herald report, White House officials have been telling people that Acosta is no longer in the running.)

    • While he was allegedly having sex with teenage girls, Epstein cultivated friendly relationships with America's elites, including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Alan Dershowitz.
    • Alan Dershowitz told Axios he's still advising Jeffrey Epstein and that he “had a therapeutic massage with an old old Russian” at Epstein’s house but from nobody underaged.

The Department of Justice declined Axios' request for comment...

I do not think it is a mystery or a particularly well-guarded secret how this must have gone down.

Rich, politically-connected white guy gets a slap on the wrist for sex trafficking.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton was routinely and falsely accused of running a sex trafficking gang out of a pizza parlor.

Collectively, it all says to me that our politicians, or law enforcement, and even garden variety rubes on the internet do not take sex trafficking seriously. A genuine zero tolerance for this kind of degeneracy does not include slaps on the wrist for rich white guys, jokes on political message boards, or partisan games in an effort to bring down rival politicians. If Epsteins friends were involved in this I do not care how much money they have, or which political party they belong too. If convicted, they need to do serious hard time at a federal penetentiary.

Who was the FBI director during the first investigation, where Epstein was handled with gloves and given numerous deals?

    None other than Robert Mueller.

Then let MUELLER or whomever go back to the Judiciary and to account for every action. I'd also like to know 2 things. Can/did the state have any pull? THINK PAM BONDI, FLA AG who made TRUMP UNIV scam go away. Think JEB BUSH. Did they have sway? I don't remember the dates this stretched over. Was this during Charlie Crist, another REP.

My logic says they SHOULDN'T have. Every fiber of my being says, but it is FLORIDA.

PS If Clinton had any sway, I want to KNOW that too. Every detail! Every phone call.

I would suggest they be locked up @ Columbia Correctional Institution, Wi In the cell still haunted by jeffry dalmer's ghost...
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Let's not forget. FLORIDA POWER BROKERS. MEN OF WEALTH with planes and really big boats and passports.

It's worth mentioning here again, Trump's modeling 'agency' was open into 2016. Can you think of a better way of scoring 'young women'?

I worry about you. The head prosecutor who set up the Epstein sweetheart deal and then kept the girls he wronged from being there at sentencing was Trump's labor secretary Acosta. https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/01/opini...yes/index.html

Can Barr interfere with a state case? Just think about this for a moment though...there should even be any concern that the AG of The USA would stop the process of holding this perverted POS responsible for his crimes against children? WTF?

Gonz, it is worst than that!! BY LAW those girls, their lawyers have to be CONSULTED about the details of the 'DEAL'. I assume they can nix it. I don't know. NO ONE WAS NOTIFIED. Including their lawyers. I have no idea how it went this far, this many years, without that fact alone sending it back to the courts IMMEDIATELY.

Something is really really really CORRUPT and dirty!
