The way to fix corruption is to do painstaking work on the ground and with the approval and assistance of the people who are getting screwed by it. We had programs in place, they were beginning to show good effects, immigration levels were reduced. Trump killed them, and then all of a sudden, DESPITE THE STORIES OF HORRIBLE TREATMENT AND CHILD SEPARATION, there was a flood of immigrants.

Absolutely and at creating a immigration crisis as a method in his madness to undermine society in to thinking he is doing a better job at dealing with immigration issues but in a lawless way, tRump further proves he is no friend of America, exhibiting his con artist ways and just being a felonious menace who is basically the imminent threat and crisis being dealt with current. This as a result of a.ssholes getting to getting together to lawlessly hack and rig this imposter in there thinking this atrocity would be a real winner but in fact turned out to be a pile of sh!t that landed on humanity to further deal with. You’re right that we can’t fix things south of our border—we can’t even do it if we tried to.

That said, there are things we can do to help matters. One is to build a wall. Walls aren’t impenetrable but this one wouldn’t have to be. It would take the pressure off our resources on the border since they could focus more on ports of entry. Asylum seekers couldn’t violate the law because they would be funneled through the ports of entry.

That would help us tremendously.

And it would be an impediment to the cartels. It wouldn’t stop human trafficking but it would make it less profitable for them. It’s easy to forget these barbaric criminals are essentially businessmen that don’t waste resources on things that don’t make them money. It’s perverse as hell, but we are effectively partnering with them in human trafficking since our immigration laws are beneficial to their ‘business’ practices.

The cartels should be treated the same way we treat Iran. Starve their asses for money and weaken them so as to give the people living under them a better chance at overthrowing them—or killing them, or whatever it takes.

Building a wall is the best way to ‘fix’ Central America.
