Why is a visa overstay Not an illegal? When the Swampy administration tries to hype the number of illegals in this country they certainly include the over stays..

nothing to do what I posted, nor does it make a wall unworkable. In fact that argues for hard barriers

It makes a wall unfeasible and un patrol-able.

silly misunderstanding of how walls with a back up patrols .

Currently ATV's have to chase migrants down all over as they quickly cross the border - they have to cover wide areas and also deeper into the US migrant paths.

A wall slows down the migrant foot traffic..many won't get thru - those that do are much more managable numbers

We have walls in such areas where that works.

we have sporadic barriers, some effective many are not because they are too short ( go around) or easily scalable.

But even there it does somewhat slow down foot traffic.

What is needed is geographical friendly barriers in at least the high crossing areas. The Rio for example is difficult because its river and marsh - barriers aren't going to be all that efective.

But long stretches of the SW are dry lands and a long wall ( with some breaks for animal migration and such)
really does contain things like dropping off hundred of migrants from buses in the middle of nowhere so they can rush across undefended border.

Walls are an integral part of defense, and help free up agents for places like Rio

I almost always do, but they would never know if I didn’t. You do it via phone, call em up and tell them you arrived. Last few times, I do it via an app on the iPhone.

The only way they know who is on the boat is because I tell them.

So you do check in. And comply with the law. that wasn't what you indicated in your original post on the subject.

Now back to what I said those that smuggle in by boat are a drop in the ocean when comparted to those who cross our southern border illegally.

Do you honestly think illegals are going to enter a port? If they are brought here they are dropped in some remote area. No smuggler in his right mind is going to bring illegals into a busy port like South Florida has.

You cannot even lie about that accurately. Good lord, give it up. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/pleasure-...-boat-overview

I never indicated anything differently and I know of MANY who came here illegally via boat... I’m sure it happens in California and Texas also.

I don’t arrive at a port, I arrive to a backyard on a canal off the intercostal waterway. As do people doing it illegally.

Kind of a dead giveaway that anyone entering by way of tunnels, ladders and wire cutters is illegally entering.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
