You look in history at folks like Mao Zedong, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Kim IlSung (and many others). And you want to put Putin above them?
Me look at history?
No, YOU.
You're the one looking in history. Anything but talk about how dangerous the Republican party is.
WE, the majority who voted against Trump are looking at the Republican party and seeing how dangerous it is to the United States of America.
The Republican party, to the rest of us, appears to have lost it's mind. Trump was barely elected, after losing the popular vote by millions. They have pretended, at Trump's own dictation, that this was some kind of huge landslide win with the biggest inauguration ever. He has repeatedly lied, and the Republican party just LOOKS THE OTHER WAY. He lied to Republicans, and they just LOOK THE OTHER WAY. He has come out with policies which have actually lowered the lifespan of Republicans, along with everyone else, and they just LOOK THE OTHER WAY. He has been friendly to our enemies and nasty to our friends, and the Republican party JUST LOOKS THE OTHER WAY.
Trump said he would eliminate the debt. Everyone knew he couldn't do it, but Republicans, who have made a VERY BIG DEAL about the importance of responsible budgeting and lowering the deficit have not only looked the other way, but voted for a VERY IRRESPONSIBLE tax cut and budget that has driven the deficit over a trillion dollars. And if anybody brings it up you Republicans quickly change the subject and LOOK THE OTHER WAY. The rest of us think you people have lost it. You've compromised your own ideals and supported this leader who has been terrible for our country and the world, for that matter.
By doing things that help the rich and hurt the poor, wealth inequality has become more extreme. That is HURTING America. It is not making it great. It is making it worse. The well off don't need to be more well off. The disadvantaged need to have their stature raised if you want to make the country great. You don't judge the greatness of a country by how rich the richest are. You look at the condition of the poorest.
And I tell you what. When you get enough people excluded from prosperity, and they see the chosen ones enjoying comfort and luxury, you don't have a great country. What you have is the seeds of revolution and possible demise of that country. And that is dangerous to the United States of America.
