I have one, but it's just a small one. It works great for cleaning the cars.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Hope you did too TOP. I had a great day, even though I spent most of it wiring in The Cat Shack. Didn't get finished, but made major progress. Wifey made two big Johnny Marzetti casseroles, they were heavenly. We didn't do traditional Thanksgiving because we are both working today.

The Cat Shack is where we keep our cats. Can't keep them in the house because I'm highly allergic. It started out very modestly, with The Catio, which was an old building that was at one time a hunting blind and, ahem, outhouse. But that was very likely over a hundred years ago. Anyways, we added a covered brick patio and enclosed the whole thing in cage wire. We then added a 12x17 metal shed with a large open kennel area in between. We then later put a corrugated metal roof over the kennel area for shade. I believe the whole shebang is now over 500 sq ft. Contained within are a myriad of cat trees, and insulated houses, crates, and bins for the kitties to sleep. A couple of weekends ago, we ran power out to it, and are now in the process of installing PVC conduit and electrical outlets and lights. This will save the wife from heating up "warmies" (microwavable pet warming devices) in the winter for their insulated bed enclosures. We have purchased a number of plug in pet warmers with chew proof cords, and I am installing outdoor, in use, outlet covers over every outlet for safety.

We haven't done a Christmas performance, but would be glad to if asked. We danced at a Summer Festival one year, so, that was interesting. Had to come up with hot weather zombie costumes, lol.

Oh, that sounds amazingOne of the girls I taught with runs a cat rescue here...they're out in the "country" so I'll tell her about what you're doing....She has a Catio right now...but the separate facility would be ideal for them...she rescue ducks, too..it's quite the scene around there
Allergies like that suck;(...but I sure know lots of people who find a way to deal with them for the love of the family members...

Yeah, my wife spends more time out there than I do, obviously. But I try to spend a little time with them a few nights a week, and on weekends. When I'm working out there, like yesterday, I wear a dust mask, and that helps a lot. We usually button them down for the winter, and tarp the whole thing up real tight to keep the wind out. But we did add a plexiglass "window for them to see out of. There's also a couple of little storm windows I installed on the original building. In the warmer months we do let them out sometimes. We used to turn them loose in the morning before work, and gather them up when we came home, but we started having a coyote problem this year, so we had to stop that.

Here's Mosaic, or, "Zaicky Girl" as I call her (we have at least three or four nicknames for each cat, lol) checking out her new "window".

That is a nice size healthy looking fox...the ones around here are much smaller....but they're everywhere...
We have three of the DIY cooler type cat shelters for the neighbor wandering kitties...the other night we saw a possum coming out of one of them...think we'll name him or her Kitty He's welcome as long as he can share....

Awww, that's nice of you to shelter the animals. We have one of those cooler shelters in The Shack, someone gave it to us. It's really well done with quality doors, and attached to an elevated stand.

One of the groups collected coolers, made them, and distributed them for free...I think about 150...they did a great job...our rescues communities here are awesome...
We do elevate them on wire kitchen shelving....
    The Shack...I love it
