(just an opinion, but as his political career begins to fade, Trump may think a War is a good political move) (?)
nah your are making the mistake of trying to listen to Trump in real time.
You gotta let the last tweet sit there without thinking WTF Trump is saying -because he's say
different stuff in different context later..

Trump confuses even me some time -so I stop worrying about every little utterance,
and pay attention to what he is doing or not

Jack; I agree. The guy from the MidWest (the one that says the Democrats need to regain their reputation as the Party of the Working Class) is probably closest to having a 'No Immigrant' stance. He didn't come out and say it because the 'emotion' was for the poor refugees. (Tim Ryan)

Dukkha: "I can't even imagine the silly answers on immigration reform that came up!!! ( borders..WTF do you mean -w/borders!)"
Jack: Julian Castro was the closest to an 'Open Borders' stance. The rest focused more on how the immigrants were being treated once inside the US.
Yea, I dunno what Castro's actual stance is, but he did come across the closes to that IMHO as well......

& I also agree Ryan made a very good point, I have been harping on this, & as he said, no one else seems to care about those ppl any more.. Maybe if a few die trying to swim the St Lawrence to get a job in a car factory or something........
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

I have liked her & she isn't, she been in war & wants to wrap that shit up in Afghani-NAM.. Been going on way to long & she is 100% correct IMHO, the talliban was there before we got there & will be when we leave... They have been dealing/negotiating w/ them for years & when we leave they will take back power...

The hope being, to be like our relationship w/ Vietnam as an example..

I guess there aint enough of them any more to be of interest?? trump seems to want their votes...........

I hear ppl say that trump didn't deliver or whatever, but if the dem aren't even offering shit, why they going to go back to the party that dumped & or ignored them last time??
I agree. Amy Klobuchar is another viable Midwestern Candidate. FOR 'Free Community College and Trade Schools'. That goes over better with Voters than 'Free College for Everybody' in my opinion.

He seemed very 'centrist'. Had no 'Bold' ideas. Was very pragmatic. Very lackluster. I don't see him lasting very long.

Yeah. What does Iran think? What does Xi think? What does Kim of NK think?
These guys have their own calculations. Does Trump have any allies in the Western World?

I think Trump has tuned into the American Working Class looking for something to blame for their loss of Jobs. Outsourcing to Third World Countries is the Main Reason, Automation is another, and importing of Third World Labor is another ... and most easiest to blame.
The Democrats have been painted as FOR 'Open Borders', a bunch of Coastal Elitists that sit in Ivory Towers. Hard to shake that image.

She was asked about her religion once, she began by talking about the Hare Krishnas. Probably NOT a big selling point to most Americans. 2% would be a Blessing ... from Krishna.
