Instead of changing in order to attract voters to regain some power, the Conservatives decided to go all-in with domestic terrorists, hire them as their brownshirts, and then use them as personal security and intimidation, resulting in an armed occupation of the state house grounds.

That's what happened in Oregon, and it's a preview of how poorly Conservatives are going to handle losing next year.
